In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Probably filing behind a float at Notting Hill Carnival along with thousands of other people listening to Soca and mesmerised by the huge steel band orchestras that would be part of the procession. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anita Baker, Rapture Goldie, Saturnz Return Massive Attack, Mezzanine All three because they help shape my musical background. Rapture for soul drumming, Mezzanine because sonically it just draws you in entirely and Saturnz Return because it was groundbreaking for its time! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at Wembley Stadium as a session drummer first with Cleopatra in 1998 and then again with Labrinth in 2011! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To start to DJ and play my music out, somewhere! Oh and maybe be on drums too!
