Veteran Swedish producer and musician Peter Tägtgren combines metal with industrial and techno sounds. He is lead vocalist for melo-death metal band Hypocrisy, and owner of the famed Abyss Studio. Tägtgren began recording solo but currently works with handpicked musicians live and in the studio. An eponymous debut appeared in 1997, heavily influenced by industrial metal inspired by Fear Factory. It was only with the charting successor Rebirth that the cold guitars increasingly met electronic and techno elements. 2011's You Only Live Twice was the first to include other players; it charted in five countries while 2016's Coming Home was listed in six. After eight years, Pain issued the charting I Am. Primarily a solo album, its only other musician was brother/drummer Sebastian Tägtgren.
