The Smiths, Meat Is Murder The influence of this album on me can't be understated whether due to Morrissey's acerbic wit or Johnny Marr's winding, melodic guitar lines or down to the incredible rhythm section that has arguably never been bettered in the whole of indie rock. The way that jealousy gets inside us and really makes us into a whole different person and perhaps distorts the decisions we make.
