While learning how to read music as a little kid, I remember having a hard time following the music from the bottom of one page to the top of the next. Reading the notes, watching my fingers, AND looking up to the next page was far too difficult lol What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Star, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star Madlib, Shades of Blue: Madlib Invades Blue Note Shad, TSOL These are some of the greatest Hip-Hop albums ever, in my opinion. They each, in their own way, define my artistic sensibilities. They contain my favourite beats, bars, songs, visuals, and the kind of music/impact I hope to make as Newselph! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Matters of Man Chptr 2 (feat. Sivion)” The subject matter of this song is very close to my own heart and experience growing up. On this song, the last song of my first album, I also delivered the final verse exploring my uncertainty in matters of manhood, masculinity, and being a father. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far, one of the most memorable moments was working with Shad for his album, TAO. Shad has been one of my favourite artists for a long, long time, and one of my biggest influences. Working with him is an awesome experience! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Most of my bucket list remains unchecked...but let me produce for Black Star and/or Deepspace5, and I'll be good to go lol
