About Nadia Younes

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I sang live was at a school talent show when I was six years old. I sang an a cappella version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, from The Wizard of Oz. I was so nervous, I sang the entire song with my eyes shut. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ariana Grande, Positions H.E.R., H.E.R. Reneé Rapp, Snow Angel I am obsessed with Reneé Rapp. I love how Snow Angel showcases her writing and vocal capabilities. It revealed how diverse she is as an artist which is why I fell in love with the album. H.E.R and Positions always put me in a good mood. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cruise” I love Cruise cause I wrote this song when I first started talking to a guy. I had genuinely never felt such an instant connection with someone and it was so new so I wasn't sure if he felt the same. Anyway, we've been dating for 2 years now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the opportunity to be on rapper Conejo’s song “H.O.P.E” with Lana Parrilla. It was my first time working with this group and we wrote the chorus real quick, recorded it, and it earned a GRAMMY consideration for Best Gospel Performance Song.
