Bill Withers, Just As I Am Gregory Porter, Be Good (Deluxe Edition) Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered "What's Going On" inspires me with its profound social commentary, "Just As I Am" resonates deeply due to its raw emotional authenticity and "Be Good" reflects my appreciation for contemporary jazz and soul. Tell us why you chose this song. “Whatever You Are” This song was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech at Barratt Junior High School in 1967. I was moved by his words, especially the line "Be the best of whatever you are." Consequently, I composed this song as a heartfelt message to my son. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the honor of performing my songs with the 70-piece Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Grammy Award-winning conductor Gast Waltzing. This memorable concert was recorded and later became my inaugural live album release. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My goal is to record 15 albums by the age of 60, and I'm currently at number 6, with just 9 more to go. No pressure, right? Hahaha!
