In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing The Beatles White Album. It was significant in that I loved it/didn't know what it was, but it informed my song writing much later. Told me you could write songs about all sorts of things not necessarily the usual I love you tropes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Station to Station (2016 Remaster) Nick Drake, Five Leaves Left (Remastered) The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) Five Leaves Left - Beautiful musical songs with his beautiful vocal and crafted simplicity. I was into him from the start and now look - his influence is everywhere. Station To Station - "Wild is the Wind' is just the best cover version you'll find. Tell us why you chose this song. “Another Piece of Plastic” I still have a deep fondness for “Another Piece of Plastic” - I like the message I was trying to get across, lyrically coupling a failing love affair with plastic pollution. It resonates for me and am fond of the string parts. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at Wembley/ Top of the Pops inthe 80s. With My Glass World it's got to be playing in my home town for the first time just before lockdown. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
