About Men I Trust

French Canadian trio Men I Trust make lush and dreamy indie-pop that taps into jazz and R&B. Fans of the band include Tyler, The Creator. • Friends since high school, Jessy Caron (bass/guitar) and Dragos Chiriac (keyboards) formed Men I Trust in 2014 while pursuing music degrees at Quebec City’s Université Laval. • The band released two albums as a duo: a 2014 eponymous LP and 2015’s Headroom. Both feature various guest vocalists. • Men I Trust became a trio in 2016, when Caron and Chiriac recruited vocalist and guitarist Emma Proulx after seeing a video of her singing around a campfire. • The group scored a massive streaming hit with their calming 2018 single “Show Me How”. • Tyler, The Creator invited Men I Trust to play his 2018 Camp Flog Gnaw Festival at Dodger Stadium. • Men I Trust hunkered down at Chiriac’s house in rural Québéc to record their third album, 2019’s 24-song Oncle Jazz.
