In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad brought home 'Reach Out I'll be There' by The Four Tops in the 1960's to play on our new record player. From that day on I was hooked on music and in particular Motown and Soul Music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Al Green, Greatest Hits: The Best of Al Green Bruce Springsteen, The Essential Bruce Springsteen Various Artists, Motown Chartbusters, Vol 3 The Motown album was played again and again until nearly worn out. I still have it and the emotions it brings out of me are immense. Springsteen opened my eyes to the kind of confessional songwriting that I could emulate myself. Al Green? Just WOW! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Anthony” A song written at a time when I was looking for answers in my life. I wanted to talk to somebody but was living alone in the middle of nowhere. So I started singing to Anthony my oldest friend and another Anthony: Anthony De Mello. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Signing a recording contract for the first time was a big thrill for me at the time. Seeing my music online and being listened to by others is always a fantastic feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to play at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. It would be a return to my Scottish roots and would be amazing to connect with an audience there as they have a reputation for being the best!
