Linda May Han Oh (aka Linda Oh) is a double and electric bassist and composer based in New York. A first-call session and touring bassist, her playing style is equally suited to vanguard jazz, post-bop, jazz-funk, or swinging hard bop. Her debut Entry appeared in 2009. Between 2011 and 2015, she was a member of trumpeter Dave Douglas' groups. He signed her to his Greenleaf Music label for Initial Here (2012) and Sun Pictures (2013). Oh played on drummer Terri Lyne Carrington's award-winning Mosaic Project in 2015. That same year, she issued Serial, followed by Walk Against Wind in 2017. She appeared with pianist Florian Weber's trio on 2018's Lucent Waters. In 2019 she released the acclaimed Aventurine and toured with Pat Metheny.
