Kyle Kinane

About Kyle Kinane

Coming on-stage with a gruff demeanor and a booze-swiller's bad ass attitude, comedian Kyle Kinane surprises newcomers with his unexpectedly well-crafted standup sets. Born in Chicago, Kinane first tried his hand at comedy while attending Columbia College, influenced by the loose yet confident work of Mitch Hedberg and Patton Oswalt. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue his craft, and by 2007, he was invited to the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival along with the television show Last Call with Carson Daly. In 2010, he released his debut album Death of the Party on the Aspecialthing label, and a year later, he starred in his own episode of the Comedy Central Presents series. In 2012 he worked alongside Bob Odenkirk, Zach Galifianakis, and others and developed an animated series for Comedy Central called Triptank. The cable television network's record label released his sophomore album, Whiskey Icarus, in 2013. ~ David Jeffries
