I learned some minuet by Mozart and was so stoked. Showed it to my teacher and they wanted me to relearn the entire fingering of it, almost stopped me from pursuing music. Big Thief, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You Bon Iver, 22, A Million Dijon, Absolutely These albums changed the way I thought of music entirely. 22 opened me up to experimentation and vocal processing. Big Thief showed me worlds that could be built with guitar and lyricism. Absolutely reminded me to stay scrappy and out of the box.
