In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory is being facinated by the old, heavy, walnut upright piano in my parents' house. It was a battlehorse and my dad had repaired the hammers with shoelaces and glue. I don't remember the sound of it, but I do remember the smell. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sparks, Hippopotamus Steely Dan, Aja Remastered Talking Heads, More Songs About Buildings and Food (Deluxe Version) Talking Heads - So funky. So erudite. So weird. There isn't a week where these songs don't come into my head. Steely Dan - I love their storytelling; so cinematic and engrossing. The music is perfect too. Sparks - Edgy, funny, absurdly profound. Tell us why you chose this song. “It Stands to Reason” Like most of my songs it went through many trials to arrive at the finish line. I'm especially fond of this because of the music video I directed and shot to accomapny it. It felt like I was taking full creative ownership of my music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting such a great response to my second single "It Stands to Reason". I tried really hard to get it out there for a particular moment and glad it resonated when it did. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
