Kelly Jones

Long known as the frontman for acclaimed Welsh rockers Stereophonics, Kelly Jones is also a solo artist. The raspy-voiced singer and guitarist is a songwriter in the tradition of the Kinks' Ray Davies -- a storyteller who empathizes with the day-to-day existence of blue-collar workers. Since debuting in the late '90s, Stereophonics have consistently maintained a global presence while notching eight number one albums in the U.K. including 2022's gritty Oochya! Jones began his solo career with 2007's Only the Names Have Been Changed followed by the 2020 live set Don't Let the Devil Take Another Day. After detouring with the 2023 Americana side project Far from Saints, he released his second solo studio album, 2024's dramatic, piano-led Inevitable Incredible.
