About Kebyart

The saxophone quartet Kebyart has expanded the saxophone quartet repertory through new commissions, arrangements, and a generally creative approach. Kebyart was formed in 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. Its membership, which has remained constant, consists of soprano saxophonist Pere Méndez, alto saxophonist Victor Serra, tenor saxophonist Robert Seara, and baritone saxophonist Daniel Miguel. Kebyart appeared on the album Dreamlover: Music for Saxophone by Albena Petrovic in 2022. Kebyart began to break through to international audiences when the members were named ECHO Rising Stars for the 2021-2022 season. Kebyart released the album Lectures différentes, featuring music by Stravinsky, Haydn, Peter Eötvös, Joan Pérez-Villegas, and Leonard Cohen, in 2022. Kebyart returned in 2023 with the album Traum der Jugend.
