About Jackie Minton

In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a kid, my parents would put me to sleep to a mix CD that had James Taylor's "Fire & Rain" and The Chordettes' classic "Mr. Sandman". The more I think about it, the more I realize how much these songs have influenced the music I make.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Made of Memories” I wrote this song for my family and played it for my grandpa Gary right before he passed away from Alzheimers. Verse 2 recounts my mom's visit to the house she grew up in when she was pregnant with me. It's full of snapshots of the people I love.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hands down– opening for Dermot Kennedy during his 2022 US tour stop in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I still can't believe that happened and wouldn't if it weren't for all the photos I have from that night.
