It Hugs Back

A quartet of mellow lads from Kent, England, It Hugs Back specializes in warm, fuzzy dream-pop. Drawing considerable influence from Yo La Tengo, as well as its British shoegazer predecessors (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, et al), the band formed in 2006 and released a number of well-received singles. Signing to the revered 4AD label, It Hugs Back issued its debut, INSIDE YOUR GUITAR, in ’09, and supported the album with a lengthy European tour.
