About 'Imisi

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our earliest musical memories was when we were growing up and starting out playing music using pots and pans for drums not knowing one day we would fall in love with music and sharing it with the world. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Mountain, The Best of Big Mountain Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers (2002 Edition) Christafari, Reggae Worship: The First Fruits of Christafari First time we heard reggae music we fell in love with it. Our island of Tonga is very influenced by this genre and Bob Marley's Legend album was major for us. Next was our good friends Christafari and Big Mountain that helped us along the way. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pass Me Not” Though we love reggae music and this is our primary genre, we cant forget our roots in praise and worship leading in church. We can always trust that God will never leave nor forsake those who call on His name. We are blessed to be a blessing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in our career is traveling internationally and playing on the same stages with major reggae artists like, Toots and the Maytal's, Sean Paul, Damian Marley and the late Lucky Dube. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, there's always something to do. For us, specifically it is to reach more people in more places with our music and The Message of Hope. Secondly, work with talented people to perfect our craft and music.
