Hady Mirza is a pop singer from Singapore who rose to fame in 2006-2007 as the winner of the television shows Singapore Idol and Asian Idol. Born January 28, 1980, he made his album debut in 2006 with Hady Mirza, which spawned a pair of smash hits (the English-language single "You Give Me Wings" and the Malay-language single "Merpati"). After winning the second season of Singapore Idol earlier in the year, he proceeded to win the first season of Asian Idol in 2007.
