Frantic Bleep

About Frantic Bleep

Norwegian progressive metal band Frantic Bleep was founded in November 2001 by Patrick Scantlebury (guitar/synth), Eywin Sundstrøm (guitar), and Karl Arthur Renstrøm (drums), who proceeded to fuse their varied progressive and heavy metal influences into a demo CD called Fluctuadmission -- released late the following year and also featuring recently acquired vocalist/bassist Pål Mozart Bjørke (ex-Madder Mortem). Recording contract offers soon started flooding in, and after welcoming new drummer Sten Erik Svendheim in mid-2003, Frantic Bleep began the recording of their debut album, The Sense Apparatus, just a few months later. This would prove to be a lengthy but ultimately rewarding one-year ordeal, and the album (featuring guest vocals from Kjetil Fosseid, Daniel Solheim, and Madder Mortem's Agnete M. Kirkevaag) was finally released in early 2005 through The End Records. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
