About Frameworks

Based out of the fertile decibel-pushing ground of Gainesville, Florida, melodic hardcore outfit Frameworks formed in 2011. Specializing in a heady blend of melody-driven hardcore, screamo, punk, and ambient alt-rock that invokes names like Deafheaven, La Dispute, and Touche Amore, the band released a debut EP, Every Day Is the Same, in 2011, followed by another EP, the 13th Floor Records-issued Small Victories, in 2013. Loom, the band's debut long-player, was produced by Jack Shirley (also responsible for Deafheaven's wildly popular sophomore outing, Sunbather) and released in 2014 via Topshelf Records. The Topshelf-issued EP Time Spent dropped in February 2016, followed quickly by a new studio album, Smother, released via Jacob Bannon's (Converge) indie label Deathwish Inc. ~ James Christopher Monger
