In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was in a friends house in the summer of 2010, playing the recent instrumentals I had produced. My friend liked them so much and suggested I should do something with them. That day, I wrote my first ever lyrics to the beat and the rest is history. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amerie, Playlist: The Very Best of Amerie Nas, Illmatic I would say because the songs on these albums/playlists take me on a nostalgia trip. Fallin' is a song that has stuck with me ever since I first heard that melody. Illmatic is self explanatory. Amerie's One Thing still goes off 18 years later. Tell us why you chose this song. “Results” This song means a lot to me because of where it was recorded and the reception it has received. Believe it or not, I recorded & mixed this in a university dorm room. It ended up getting airplay twice on BBC Radio 6 through BBC Introducing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment in my career so far is getting airplay twice on BBC Radio 6, one of the biggest radio stations in the UK. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would definitely say go on a worldwide tour, perform at a massive festival, perform on the Jimmy Fallon show, have my music chart in multiple countries.
