Fist City

Formed in Alberta, Canada by the Griffiths siblings -- bassist/vocalist Brittany and guitarist/vocalist Kier -- the noise rock-loving Fist City began playing shows in 2009. Their first album, Hunting You, as well as a self-titled EP, a split EP with Timecopz, and the cassette Demos//Live Fisting, were released in 2010. It's 1983, Grow Up! was released in 2012. Following a North America jaunt, Brittany Griffiths left to pursue other adventures. The group continued to play shows and released a split single before Griffiths rejoined in 2013. Everything Is a Mess was released in 2015 and found the band delivering classic noise rock in the style of Wipers, Sonic Youth, and the fuzzier end of the Flying Nun spectrum. ~ Tim Sendra
