London-based singer/songwriter Fauness debuted in 2018 with her EP Toxic Femininity, delivering a blast of eclectic, icy pop with the help of pioneering U.K. dance producer Jam City. Over the next few years, Fauness released a handful of tracks that played with genre boundaries, dipping her toes into scuzzy rock, U.K. electronica, and alternative pop. By 2021 she had inked a deal with U.S. label Cascine; she delivered her debut EP for the label, Maiden No More, a few months later.
