In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Experiencing the reggae band Tradition, perform live back in the 70s, this was a great moment for me as it was the first time I had seen and fully understood the structure and team efforts of a band working together. It was an inspirational moment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gregory Isaacs, The Very Best of Gregory Isaacs: Gold John Holt, 1000 Volts of Holt (Bonus Tracks Edition) Various Artists, We Remember Bob Andy John Holt, takes me back to my youth, where I could literally sing every song on the album. Bob Andy I always believed he was magical, and especially gifted for song writing. Gregory left us with a catalogue of original songs, truly the cool ruler. Tell us why you chose this song. “Easy Lover” This song is special to me as it was chosen to be included in a Jet Star Reggae Hits Volume 9 compilation album along with many other great artists. This was a major achievement for me at the time and helped me with my music career. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the pleasure of singing in a recording studio with the legendary Alton Ellis and Winston Francis. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to sing live at a concert To collaborate with famous artists I would love for my music to be included in movies, games and tv adverts
