In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first electric guitar was a horrid, cheap and nasty thing. I had no amplifier, so had to rest the headstock on the wooden headboard of my bed in order to hear it! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Be Bop Deluxe, Futurama (Remastered & Expanded) Francis Dunnery, Tall Blonde Helicopter Everyone is Everybody Else - the only album where I can quote the lyrics to every song! Futurama is a masterpiece: genius songs and wonderful guitar work. Tall Blonde Helicopter is a simply stunning collection of songs that means so much to me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lovotics” I chose Lovotics because it represents everything I try to achieve when writing a song - melody and emotive content. I also love the keyboard and guitar solos, too. All improvised in one take, yet sounding composed. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Taking delivery of my first mass produced CD Album - The Nature of Change - straight from the pressing plant. Prior to that, I had self-released cassette albums, but this was something else: it was a great feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would dearly love to release a vinyl record. Not because I have a love of the format (I no longer own any records), but I think it would be a nice thing for fans to own.
