In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back by Public Enemy and memorising the lyrics was formative for me. I was drawn to the urgency and density of sound, and the way bass, rhythm, and voice carried political weight physically. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Byrne, American Utopia Dead Prez, Let's Get Free Sleaford Mods, Eton Alive These albums shaped how I think about rhythm, voice, and politics. They connect hip-hop urgency, raw UK minimalism, and a cross-disciplinary approach where sound, movement, and ideas exist together. Tell us why you chose this song. “Change It” Change It is special to me because it turns political failure into something physical and urgent. The track is driven by UK rap, beat, and bass, and the artwork — a photo I took of fire-damaged West London tower blocks — grounds it in lived reality. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments has been seeing people recognise themselves in the work — not as entertainment, but as something that reflects their own experiences. That sense of shared connection has mattered more to me than scale. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d like to keep developing work that sits between music, movement, and visual art, and to present it in spaces that allow for context and depth. Building a sustainable, curious practice matters more to me than traditional milestones.
