In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember realized the first time I was able to sing. I was 8 years old, and my Dad would play Sade on the way to school. I sang along to the words, and he looked at me shocked. He told me I could sing, and received his vocal genes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life NWTS is in my opinion his best, and really inspired me to want to make music. Songs in the key of life is musical excellence in a nutshell, perhaps the best album of all time. Purple rain has no skips. Prince’s artistry and showmanship are unmatched. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Your Body” This song was the first in helping me identify what type of music I wanted to create. Its catchy, fun, easy to listen to, and an overall good record. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first live performance. It was my first real test as an artist, and once it was over I knew that becoming an artist was something I absolutely could do. It gave me a level of confidence that never went away. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? 1) Sell out a show 2) Ability to work with any other music creator 3) Make my mother proud
