The output of the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia native Chris d'Eon provokes comparisons and references to vintage new age and contemporary experimental electronic artists, '80s mainstream pop, throwback house, classical music, and left-of-center R&B. The study of Arabic, Iranian, and Turkish music also informed his releases. His early releases include a split EP with Grimes, the conceptual LP, and a series of Music for Keyboards mixtapes. 2015's Foxconn: Trios mutated footwork, jungle, and trap. Subsequent albums like 2024's Leviathan have featured Baroque and modern classical-style compositions.
