In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about four or five years old and I was lying on the 1980s-style deep pile carpet as the sun came through the living room window and touched my face. My Mum was playing the Carpenters and my awareness and love for music had begun. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jamiroquai, Emergency On Planet Earth Remastered Skunk Anansie, Stoosh Warren Zevon, Excitable Boy I love Jamiroquai and their debut album is still one of their best. I love the storytelling of Warren Zevon and this album, for me, is his best. I loved Skunk Anansie since their debut Paranoid and Sunburnt but Stoosh took it to a whole new level. Tell us why you chose this song. “Featured on 6 Music” This is almost a protest song against the gamification of life. It's me venting my frustration about the way that we're using technology to hide away from real life and disconnect from personal interactions. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finally having the bottle to release my own material was a huge step for me. It's not easy to put yourself out there but doing so is opening up so many doors for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have no plans or delusions of becoming a world-famous star but I do hope that my music connects with some people. I am very open and happy to talk to people either on my socials or in real life and love to encourage others to pursue their dreams.
