Dan Lissvik

About Dan Lissvik

Dan Lissvik is a Swedish musician, producer, remixer, and visual artist best known for founding the Balearic dance duo Studio and the Gothenburg-based Service record label, along with several other projects. Studio's tracks blended new wave-influenced indie rock with Afro-beat, dub, and Krautrock influences, and Lissvik has continued working in a similar vein with his subsequent ventures, ranging from ambient experiments to disco tracks. Studio's debut album, West Coast, was released in late 2006, then expanded as Yearbook 1 the following year; both versions were widely acclaimed. Lissvik then concentrated on his career as a solo artist and remixer, releasing 7 Trx + Intermission (2008) and Midnight (2016). He's also issued music under the name Atelje and formed the group Under Allt, who have released the albums Mellanrum (2021) and 3 (2023).
