The first time I heard Eric Clapton's Bad Love, driving back from a day trip to France and listening to my Dad's mixed tape, was the moment I knew I wanted to make music. Everything about that song has an incredible energy which still excites me now. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Brown Sugar Foals, Total Life Forever Maribou State, Kingdoms In Colour Total Life Forever has such a unique atmosphere and was a huge part of my identity growing up Brown Sugar was my introduction into beat making on the MPC Kingdoms In Colour is takes me away to another world - it's sonic perfection Tell me yours! I make music for the late night overthinkers and this song is the most synonymous with that description - about the words unsaid and feelings not shared as the flames were left to fade in a previous relationship. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring Australia, New Zealand and Singapore in 2023 was a dream! Shout out to the people of Lyttelton in Christchurch for making it such a special night for me. I loved every show and the people I got to meet along the way. I hope to return soon!
