In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 10 years old, my piano teacher introduced me for the first time with Béla Bartók's music. It was different than any other music I had heard so far. I was stunned by this unique world of harmonies, melodies and rhythms. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Sea Change Collegium Vocale Gent, Philippe Herreweghe, J.S. Bach: St. Matthew Passion, BWV 244 אבטיפוס, הודעה לנוסעים מחוץ לזמן Bach is the bedrock of my musical influences and this particular piece is one of all time classical pinnacles. Beck is my role model of performer, musician and producer. Avtipus I co-founded Avtipus in 1985 and this is or first indie record. I” This ~20min piece was my first introduction to Progressive Rock when I was 14yo. Its minimalistic intro, choice of instrumentation and brilliant musical performance made it one of my all time favorites.
