Founded in 2014 by Brandyn Burnette and Molly Moore, both of whom had already carved out a name for themselves independently on the west coast pop scene, Cosmos & Creature is an ebullient indie electro-pop duo based out of Los Angeles, California. Burnette had spent the prior four years signed to Warner Bros, where he, in addition to his works as a solo artist, penned a Juno Award-winning number one hit for Canadian pop/rockers Hedley and a U.S. Top 40 single for pop-rapper Jake Miller. Moore also found success as a solo artist, and had recently worked as a co-writer with Lea Michele. The duo began making waves in 2016 with the release of the singles "Young" and "Bright Side," the latter of which was a collaboration with Dutch DJ-and-production-duo Vicetone. "Bad Drug," the lead single from their forthcoming debut EP, followed in 2017. A second single, "I Am Free," appeared in 2018. ~ James Christopher Monger
