About Cormac

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember singing at a Christmas concert at Bridgewater Hall when I was 9. I sat on the stage beside the conductor for 20 mins, looking out at the bright lights and the faces that I could see looking back at me. I was so nervous waiting to sing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fall Out Boy, American Beauty / American Psycho Robbie Williams, XXV (Deluxe Edition) Tommee Profitt, Cinematic Songs, Vol. 7 For their variety and punch. I like music I can really hear. All of these albums give me that. Robbie is an incredible performer, Fall Out Boys beat is brilliant and Tommee P is just on another level musically with what he creates. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “True Colours” It's the first song I recorded & accompanied myself on the piano. I was 13 & I'm very proud of it. Singing & playing isn't easy & it is such a brilliant song, I really wanted it to turn out well & it reminds me how hard work pays off too. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being the youngest singer ever signed to global label Decca Records in 2020 aged 11, then winning 'Young Adult, Vocalist of the Year' 3 years later at the 2023 independent artists 'JOSIE MUSIC AWARDS' in Nashville, Tennessee. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, lots of things but for now, it is to record a song I've written myself, in the new voice that I end up with, when all this voice changing bit is finished. Then I want to sing it, on a big stage, look back and think I'm v glad I didn't give up.
