I remember my family getting a piano when I was a young child and I took a permanent marker to write numbers on all the keys. My dad got mad and when he asked me what I was doing I replied "I want to write the songs in my head". What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glass Animals, How to Be a Human Being Modest Mouse, Good News for People Who Love Bad News Phoebe Bridgers, Punisher HtBaH is one of the grooviest and most energetic albums out there. Punisher is a masterpiece that has shaped the indie scene and shows off such detailed lyricism. Good News is such an artistic journey and flows from song to song like a good story. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rebel Ways” The first version was written when we were different people than we are now. The lyrics have changed and adapted to reflect the massive changes we have gone through personally and the significance of that really holds a lot of weight for us. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We played a show on a beach with a bonfire with the sun setting over the mountains behind us. It was not with any permits or amplification. We just brought a drum set and some guitars and played until we felt like it was done. Beautiful moment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. The biggest thing is to be successful enough that we can create our artistic vision with no compromises. We want to create detailed stories that fans are a part of out in real life.
