About Coach Party

A product of the same late-2010s Isle of Wight, England indie rock scene as Wet Leg, Lauran Hibberd, and Plastic Mermaids, this wry, energetic, Jess Eastwood-fronted quartet deliver relationship dissections and playfully frank put-downs within infectious melodies. 2020 brought the release of Coach Party's pop-focused debut EP, Party Food. After Party -- a like-minded companion EP -- arrived in 2021, and by the end of the year they'd become a hard-working live band enjoying support slots with Sea Girls and We Are Scientists. Singles such as "Micro Aggression," "All I Wanna Do Is Hate," and "Born Leader" were issued in 2023 and represented some of their heaviest material to date. Each track appeared on their debut album, Killjoy, which hit the lower reaches of the U.K. album chart later that year.
