In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to watch my Uncle Roger play with Rick Wakeman 6 Wives of Henry The eighth on Ice. Roger playing the infamous triple neck Wal bass What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Adams, Otherside of the Sky Manfred Mann's Earth Band, The Best of Manfred Mann's Earth Band Re-Mastered, Vol. 1 Pink Floyd, Meddle (2016 Remaster) My first instrument was drums performing my first gig at 8 years old with my dads band at 12 I wanted to swap to guitar. This is when Meddle had been released, I listened to Echoes over and over a massive influence. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Echoes of Floyd” This is my interpretation of and expression of my early musical influences wrapped up into one track. With the obvious connections to Pink Floyd but also the more progressive guitar techniques you hear from Vai and Segovia. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting Wal ( Ian Waller ) I became very close with Wal, we discussed the universe and everything on many occasions, we used to go to lazerium then back to Wals mayfair flat. Wal used to make the strongest coffee I have ever tasted. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to visit Pompeii. Hopefully I will do this this year, I am hoping to draw some inspiration from this ancient site.
