Chicane made trance history with “Offshore”, a dreamy 1996 single that became a staple of dance floors and chill-out rooms alike. Since then, the UK producer—born Nicholas Bracegirdle in Buckinghamshire in 1971—has remained a fixture in dance music, renowned for his characteristic fusions of driving beats, dreamy melodies,and Balearic atmospheres.
