In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is getting a copy of Jason Donovan's album 'Ten Good Reasons' on cassette when I was 4 years old. It was 1989 and my first introduction to the magic of 80s music. Super catchy songs, drum machines, synths... Perfect! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alice In Chains, Black Gives Way to Blue The Pointer Sisters, Contact (Expanded Edition) Toto, The Seventh One Two albums from the 80s which are a huge influence on me musically, Toto and the Pointer Sisters. Synths, loud guitars, and the catchiest of melodies - it's what I try to do with my own music. The Alice in Chains album is also a masterpiece. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My latest album 'Voltcassette' took me three years to make and is a tribute to my musical icons. Getting this album finished was a highlight, as I honestly thought I'd never get it completed! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing on stage with Toto would be a dream! They are a huge musical influence and their musicianship is incredible. If they fancied making a guest appearance on some of my work, that would be great!
