Brian "Head" Welch

While on tour with his longtime band Korn in 2005, guitarist Brian “Head” Welch had a religious epiphany and instantly decided that his hedonistic lifestyle had to end. In 2007, his memoir, SAVE ME FROM MYSELF, chronicling his escape from a life of drugs through a dedication to Christianity and charting his path for a solo career, scaled the New York Times bestseller list. His 2008 debut shared the book’s title and while the themes differed markedly from his days with Korn, it retained the blistering nu-metal attack of his former band.
