Bor Zuljan

Bor Zuljan has brought fresh repertory and methods to performances of the repertory for lute and other plucked stringed instruments. Since 2011, Zuljan has been the artistic director of the Slovenian early music festival Flores Musicae. He performs widely as a soloist and with a variety of early music ensembles, including Vox Luminis and Il Giardino Armonico. He has often been heard in duos with Dusan Bogdanovic and baritone Romain Bockler, whom he backed on the 2019 album Josquin: Adieu mes amours, as part of the duo Dulces Exuviae. Zuljan is also the leader of his own ensemble, La Lyra, which has been heard on the album La barca del mio amore. Zuljan made his solo debut in 2020 with the album Dowland: A Fancy. He returned with Bockler and Dulces Exuviae on Ricercar with the album Toutes les nuits in 2023.
