In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memories of loving music was finding a mixed tape of Glenn Miller, Bobby Darrin, Dean Martin, Al Jolson at my Mam/Tad-Gu's, playing it on repeat. Rummaging through the sale basket every Friday after school, buying Soul and Jazz Classics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up Paul Simon, Graceland (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) Sam Cooke, Portrait of a Legend 1951-1964 (Remastered) These albums have a sense of grounding, adventure an earthly yearning and inclusivity. Hearing elements of the world and the roots of music. The opening of 'Diamonds on the souls of her shoes' never fails to give me goosebumps. Tell us why you chose this song. “In Deep” I wrote this song on a Monday after watching the 'Amy' and 'Whitney and Bobbie' Movie on the weekend. Both featuring their troubled relationships. They both had the same desires, pulls and weaknesses when it came to love. So I wrote about it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments in my career so far are, duetting with Sir Tom Jones, being invited to perform at Buckingham Palace. A song I wrote for the children of the British Armed Forces touching the hearts of millions. Working with Jennifer Hudson. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love for my songs to get playlisted. I would love to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. I would love to take my show to the states and Tour.
