About B2K

Led by frontman Omarion, the R&B boy band B2K exploded in the early years of the new millennium with hip-hop–tinged hits like “Bump, Bump, Bump”. • Members Jarell Damonté “J-Boog” Houston Sr., De’Mario Monte “Raz-B” Thornton and Dreux Pierre “Lil Fizz” Frédéric started out as part of another group called Melodic. On New Year’s Eve 1999, they invited Omarion to join the fold. • The name B2K means “Boys of the New Millennium”. • The group’s self-titled 2002 debut album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped the R&B albums chart. It went gold within a few months. • B2K released “Bump, Bump, Bump”, featuring P. Diddy, as the lead single off their 2002 sophomore album, Pandemonium. “Bump, Bump, Bump” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the biggest hit of their career. • The members of B2K appear in the 2004 breakdance film You Got Served. The group also recorded a batch of songs for the soundtrack. Soon after the film, B2K split up, and Omarion launched a successful solo career. • B2K reunited for a three-month tour in 2019 but didn’t release any new music.
