FKA twigs, CAPRISONGS Kelela, Take Me Apart Tems, For Broken Ears Albums from 3 Black women I look up to. I’m Kelela’s #1 fan! If you don’t know her yet, you are welcome. ‘CAPRISONGS’ is twigs’ most authentic project and I love her creativity. In ‘For Broken Ears’ Tems speaks to my soul; nothing short of spiritual. It is 15 minutes long but I can spend days listening to it on repeat. This musical masterpiece carries a deep and powerful message that too many choose to ignore.
