Beyond the eye-catching name, Arsonists Get All the Girls bucks the usual grindcore formula, employing two vocalists, both of them keyboardists. What results is a whirlwind of circus-like death metal that bonds the creativity of Faith No More, the bombast of Dream Theater, and the fierceness of Malevolent Creation. The six-piece hides tales of grim existentialism, violence, aging, and death within rampaging, yet almost mischievous music, giving the group a surreal standing. After a well-received debut, the outfit were tapped by the major league Century Media.
