About Polly Paulusma
Polly Paulusma is a British singer/songwriter with a sound rooted in traditional and contemporary folk music. Emerging in 2004 with the critically acclaimed Scissors in My Pocket, she joined the ranks of contemporaries Kathryn Williams, Karine Polwart, and Kate Walsh as the new vanguard of English folk music. Subsequent efforts like Fingers & Thumbs (2007), Leaves from the Family Tree (2012), and The Pivot on Which the World Turns (2022) helped to cement that status, as did the establishment of Paulusma's own record label, Wild Sound.
