good return from the x

decent album, however as its been with dmx albums, he goes over the same material and lacks new ideas however certain tracks rescue the weaker ones, the highlight would be "we in here" and "lord give me a sign", if you like hip-hop deeply i'd recomend this album.

Wicked

Some great beats, wicked lyrics and some great collaborations make this a really good album. The best songs are 'Lord Give Me a Sign', ' We In Here', 'It's Personal' & 'Walk These Dogs'. If you really like hip hop you'll love this album

New DMX Fans

Believe it or not, In DMX's own opinion this album is not good. He has 1 song on this album that stands up to the music on his first two albums. Anybody guess which song that is? Nope I thought not. Thats because people who have purchased this album & think it's gd are new fans of his or simply cant judge gd music. Back to my question..the answer is the "Intro". Dmx-a true hip hop artist who has lost his way on the mic.......Because of his passion & rap flow he previously had I will always give his material a chance/listen. BTW. Any of you who may think I'm being harsh, I'll sudgest you compare "Slipping" or his verse on 4321 (for eg.) with any of his recent material. There is absolutely no subtance in his last few albums just attitude & shouting. His flow used to be calm & cheeky - his lyrics 'complex & thoughtful. Now it's jus garbage & noisy. I'm not even sure that the intro on his current album is a recent recording of his...if it was then why on earth does it sound completely different to the rest of the album? Ask yourself the same question.....
