A masterful first album

Alex Cornish first came to my attention in June 2008 when my girlfriend and I saw him play at the Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh, and I haven't been able to stop listening to him since. I got the album shortly after the gig (I believe this is a re-release) and his music has touched a chord with me - so many different emotions and memories being reflected upon, and delivered so well throughout, it becomes difficult to pick a highlight in what is a flow of perfectly fluid melody. He certainly deserves to do well so I urge you to give "Until the Traffic Stops" a listen, and better still go see him live as he tours this year.

Stunning album

It's been a long time since I have been moved by something as good as this. Not a bad song on the album which is littered with melodies that stay with you long after listening.

singer songwriting at its best

Initally heard "until the trffic stops" on Mark Radcliff and been waiting for this album since. This album does not disappoint at all, the songs are well crafted and hauntingly warm. Fantastic. We caught him recently at a gig in edinburgh and what a great set he did. Try to see him now on his tour before he gets massive.....
