At Notting Hill Carnival, over 30 sound systems and stages pump party sounds from soca and dancehall, via garage and drum’n’bass. Adding his distinct flavour to The Agenda this year, London DJ and producer Conducta dispatches a similarly varied mix, representing the sound of the UK. “For this mix, I wanted to show the best of Black British music and showcase music at the heart of UK culture past and present,” he tells Apple Music. “Playing a Carnival stage for me is a rite of passage as a UK DJ, and I want to recreate the energy of my first time as both a raver and selector.”
